Terms of Service

Plain-language terms covering API access, fair use, and liability.

Effective May 4, 2026

1. The deal

By creating an account or calling our API, you agree to these terms. If you're signing on behalf of an organization you represent that you have authority to bind it. If you disagree, stop using the service.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the service to screen wallets, monitor transactions, file SARs, and verify customer identities for your own compliance program. You may not (a) re-sell raw screening output as your own intelligence feed, (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits, (c) send us synthetic data to mislead our internal stats, (d) use the service to harass or surveil individuals outside a lawful AML/CTF program.

3. API keys & security

You're responsible for keeping API keys secret and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if a key is exposed. We rotate compromised keys at our discretion.

4. Billing

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Top-up credits never expire. Disputes go to [email protected] within 60 days of the charge. We reserve the right to suspend service for unpaid invoices over 30 days past due, with email notice first.

5. No warranty on intelligence

Risk scores, sanctions matches, and entity attributions are produced from public and licensed data and are not legal advice. You remain responsible for the final compliance decision on every transaction. We make commercial-best-efforts to keep the data current and the API up, but the service is provided "as is".

6. Limits of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profits damages.

7. Termination

You can cancel any time from billing settings. We can terminate for cause (breach, non-payment, illegal use). On termination you can export your screening history for 30 days, after which the data is purged subject to the retention rules in the privacy policy.

8. Governing law

Wyoming law, exclusive jurisdiction in courts of Laramie County, Wyoming. Enterprise MSAs can negotiate alternative venues.

Heads up: v1 plain-language terms. Enterprise customers should request a full Master Services Agreement at [email protected].
